GARNETT — Garnett city manager Joyce Martin said that she’ll meet with Astro Manufacturing officials this week in the wake of Monday morning’s fire that severely damaged the Garnett plant. The city is scrambling to find an alternative site so Astro can continue manufacturing operations, she said. The city will formally thank fire departments from Ottawa, Franklin County and Anderson County that helped Garnett firefighters with the early morning blaze.
