OTTAWA — Ottawa area farmer Ed Ferguson has provided a $2,500 grant for the Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Ferguson was selected as a winner in Monsanto Corporation’s America’s Farmers Grow Communities program. Winning farmers get the opportunity to give donations to their favorite non-profit organizations. Ferguson presented the check to hospital trustees Tuesday night. The donation will go into the mammography unit fund drive, Dean Ohmart, hospital finance officer, said.
