OTTAWA — A 53-year-old Ottawa man has been jailed in connection with what Ottawa High School officials described as an attempt by someone to hide a video camera in the Ottawa High School varsity girls’ locker room Monday. An alert sent from the high school to parents said there was no revealing videos of students. Ottawa Police Lt. Adam Weingartner said detectives are investigating the case. Marshall Dean Silvey, Ottawa, has been booked into the Franklin County jail for suspicion of attempted eavesdropping, Weingartner said. Silvey will be held pending a Franklin County District Court appearance, Weingartner said.
