OTTAWA — March 4 is the cutoff date for the Multistate Forestry Cooperative Conservation Partnership Initiative. The CCPI provides financial and technical assistance to owners and operators of agricultural and non-industrial private forests. The help can be used to replace shelterbelts that are old and no longer providing an adequate wind shield and declining forests damaged by human-caused changes to rivers and streams.
