OTTAWA — The city of Ottawa is looking for up to $6.2 million to rebuild Davis Road between K-68 and Sand Creek road. City manager Richard Nienstedt said the heavily-used road to the industrial park has been become a bottleneck that’s caused some companies at the industrial park to delay their expansion plans. However, two companies have announced expansion plans that would add another 250 to 300 employees, creating more traffic on Davis Road, he said. The city has been looking at a variety of funding sources, including federal grants, to help pay the cost, he told county and school board officials at Wednesday‘s joint meeting.
