LAWRENCE — If there were to be a new 21st century Mount Rushmore, historian and author Richard Norton Smith said Dwight Eisenhower and Woodrow Wilson should be on it. Smith will talk about the last two of his four picks for the most significant presidents of the 20th century this week in presentations sponsored by Kansas University’s Dole Institute of Politics. He’ll talk about Eisenhower’s presidential legacy on Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Dole Institute. He’ll talk about Wilson on Thursday night at 7:30. The programs are free and open to the public.
