GREAT LAKES, Ill. — The son of a Wellsville woman has completed U.S. Navy basic training. Danny Callahan Jr. has completed basic at the Navy’s Great Lakes, Ill., base. He is the son of Darla Callahan. He learned about naval customers, first aid, water safety and survival, shipboard and aircraft safety, and fire-fighting.
