OTTAWA — As the Irish drinking song says, in heaven there is no beer. The no-suds rule also applies to the wide-open spaces in downtown Ottawa. Ottawa Main Street has withdrawn its request to have a beer garden fundraiser downtown in June. The request had divided city commissioners and had been delayed from week to week until Monday, when Main Street officially pulled its request.
