LAWRENCE — Pianist Frederic Chiu and storyteller and poet David Gonzalez will present a modern re-working of the children’s classics “Carnival of The Animals” and “Peter and The Wolf,” at Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Kansas University’s Lied Center. The family-friendly performance reinvents the two classics with classical piano music and modern poetry.
