GARNETT — Garnett city park employees have been busy converting the former National Guard armory into a new recreation center. Garnett city manager Joyce Martin said the employees have been removing walls, replacing carpet and rewiring as the city gears up for its ribbon-cutting for the new rec center Thursday night at 6.
