OTTAWA — One accident Tuesday afternoon combined both injury and insult. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Mark Waymire, 59, Ottawa, was driving north on Old Highway 50 near Iowa Terrace when he lost control of his car and ran off the highway and hit a fence. Franklin County EMS crew members checked him but he refused treatment. What Waymire couldn’t refuse was his arrest for two counts of failure to appear and for non-payment of child support. His bond was set at $6,000.
