OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie High School has presented the Kansas State High School Activities Association Award of Excellence to Joe and Jean Vasquez for their years of support for the school. The Osawatomie Journal reported that the couple recently donated a new popcorn machine to the high school in memory of their son Jon Vasquez, a member of the class of 1986.
