LAWRENCE–Forty-eight students were honored by the University of Kansas announced today. These students were awarded for the Undergraduate Research Awards for the spring of 2011. Seven of those 48 are Douglas County residents. They are Aaron Karlin of Baldwin, Marysa Sacerdote, Laura White, Joseph Stogsdill, Grant Harrison, Katherine Aucott, and Adela Timmons, all from Lawrence. The awards support original, independent research by undergraduates.
