GREELEY–Thanks to an area tv station, the children of Greeley Grade School raised money for those in Haiti. Last year the children held a penny campaign and raised $566 for the Red Cross to give to Haiti. Fox 4 News received news that the children were doing this again and decided to help. Fox 4 aired their story and the Bank of Greeley listened. The bank decided to match anything the children raised. In the end, the students raised $646.91. The money will be donated to support the Haiti Orphan Group, an organization that raises funds to build a village to house, feed, and care for roughly 100 Haitian children.
