TOPEKA–A routine inspection at a zoo led to three non compliant issues. The US Department of Agriculture announced that the Topeka Zoo had an outdated perimeter fence that remains non compliant. Zoo Director Brendan Wiley said that the issue is being discussed and expects quick action. Other issues included improper storage of wood shavings in a quarantine barn and standing water portions for a mountain lion enclosure.
