GARNETT — A 75-year-old Garnett man was injured when he was hit by a car Monday morning when he tried to walk across U.S. 59 about 100 feet south of the K-31 intersection in Garnett. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Kenneth McMillan was taken to Anderson County Hospital in Garnett after he was hit by a car driven by Bryce Gardner, 18, Garnett.
