LAWRENCE–“The healthiest race in the heartland” will take place in Lawrence. The 2011 Kansas Half Marathon is set 7:30 am April 17th, at the Haskell Indian Nations University. Not only will there be a half marathon, but a 10-K and 5-K will also be offered. To participate in the half marathon is $55, 10-K is $40, and 5-K is $28.
