MANHATTAN– A proposal for tuition increase at Kansas State University will bring in more money from tuition than it receives from state funds. The 4 percent increase for the next academic year would bring in $165.9 million in tuition revenue to the school. With the increase, it would rise the undergraduate tuition to $231.30 per hour for in-state, and out-of-state tuition to $613.60 per hour. The Board of Regents is expected to hear the proposal in May and make a decision in June.
