OTTAWA — The Ottawa school district is looking for a new principal at Lincoln Elementary School next year. Vicki Schweinler will take an administrative position with the Emporia school district, Ottawa Supt. Dean Katt said. The school board accepted her resignation Monday, he said. She’ll leave July 1. The board also accepted the retirement of long-time teacher Linda Alderman. The district has started advertising for a principal, he said.
