OTTAWA — The winners of Election Day – the election workers. Last week, the county commissioners agreed to give them a pay hike for today. County administrator Lisa Johnson said the pay hike now means election judges and workers will get paid the minimum wage. It’s been hard to find election workers in recent years, she said.
