LEAVENWORTH–A Leavenworth man has been charged with drunken driving after he crashed his SUV with three children inside it. According to Leavenworth police, Ryan Hunt, 29, lost control of his car in the 200 block of North Broadway Road, hit a curb and overturned his SUV around 8 last night. Hunt’s three children, ages 4, 6, and 7, were in the SUV. The four-year-old was taken to the hospital and was later released. The other children were not hurt. Ryan’s blood alcohol content was .156, nearly twice the legal limit. He was arrested and cited for driving under the influence, three counts of endangering a child and reckless driving.
