TOPEKA — Don’t stop breathing. The Kansas Adjutant General’s office said tests show that the air above Kansas now contains particles of nuclear contamination from the damaged Japanese Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear reactors. The state said the nuclear particles are far below levels of human health concern and there is no anticipated health threat to the U.S.. or Kansas. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said it will continue to conduct air tests and will keep Kansans updated.
