WELLSVILLE — The Kansas Highway Patrol said there’s no determination on what caused last summer’s crash in which a busload of children rolled over on I-35 near Wellsville as they were return to an Independence, Mo., church from a church camp near Ottawa. The highway patrols said although there was no record of mechanical trouble there was some indication that the steering could have been an issue. The crash injured six children and closed I-35 for several hours.
