OTTAWA — Despite a tight city budget and state funding cuts, the city of Ottawa plans an ambitious list of street repairs paving projects this summer. Enough money was held over in reserves and the city received more money than expected from a special state highway fund that will help with more projects, said city manager Richard Nienstedt. Last year, the city spent $130,000 in street projects. This year, the city will spend about $220,000, he said.
