OTTAWA–Even though they didn’t pull a national championship repeat, Baldwin High School’s Real World Design Challenge team members believed that they outdid themselves from last year. The group traveled to our nation’s capital on Saturday to compete in the Real World Design Challenge. The RWDC is a competition that provides high school students the opportunity to work on real world engineering challenges. A team in Connecticut won the national title, followed by a Washington school, then Baldwin. Baldwin High is a three-time defending state champion in the engineering contest and won last year’s national title.
