BALDWIN CITY — A head-on crash between two trucks Saturday afternoon sent four men to hospitals. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Chad Peterson, 35, Eudora, was driving south on U.S. 59 when his pickup left the road and when he pulled back onto the road, stuck another pickup head on about six miles south of Lawrence. Peterson was taken to KU Medical Center. The driver of the other pickup, Andrew Cook, 31, Paola; was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, as were two of his passengers. Also injured were Michael Gorman, 48, Osawatomie, and Kevin Cook, 29, Paola. A fourth passenger, Christopher Cook, 27, Belton, Mo., wasn’t injured.
