OTTAWA — The group that converted Hawthorne School into a church will have an open house on Sunday. The Grace Community Fellowship Church is inviting the public to the open house from noon to 2 Sunday afternoon to the former school at Fifth and Poplar. Snacks will be served. The Ottawa school board looked at several uses and buyers for the building before agreeing to sell it to the church congregation.
