GARNETT — The city of Garnett’s lawn mower demolition derby is Saturday afternoon at 2 on the Optimist Field at North Lake Park. The demo derby is open to all, with a $15 entry fee. Cash prizes will be awarded with amounts being determined by the number of entries Spectator admission is $10 for adults with children ages 8 and under free. Special advanced adult tickets are available at Garnett City Hall for $5. Proceeds will support the Garnett 150 celebration.
