OTTAWA — The Ottawa school district is joining other schools in the county and Ottawa-Franklin County Economic Development Corporation in a new program called the Job Skills Institute beginning this fall. Ottawa Supt. Dean Katt said the institute is designed to teach students more than reading, writing and ‘rithmetic: Showing up on time every day and getting along with other people.
