GARNETT — The employer of the Richmond man who was killed in Monday’s deadly fire will have a special raffle to raise funds for the surviving family members. Before he was killed in the fire, 25-year-old Bryce Schendel worked at Kids Creations in Garnett.
Kids’ Creations owner Jeff Snell has started an on-line raffle for a premium redwood swingset built in Ggarnett. All of the proceeds will go to the survivors of the Schendel family members to cover expenses after the tragedy, in which four family members died, Snell said. Tickets are $20. You can buy them at the company, which is on U.S. 59 on the north edge of Garnett, or on-line at www.kidscreations.com/help. The prize will be awarded May 6.
