Baldwin City– One month after the entire Baldwin High School boys basketball coaching staff resigned, BHS found a new head coach. Dustin Leochner, an assistant boy’s coach at Free State High in Lawrence, accepted the job on Monday. Leochner has been an assistant at Free State for eight years and is looking forward to the new job. Last month, former head coach Eric Toot and his two assistants Chad Scoby and Jason Crowder resigned. Baldwin High will hire two assistant coaches soon.
