WELLSVILLE — A 46-year-old Ottawa man was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Monday afternoon after his pickup hit a bridge railing near Wellsville. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Lawrence Trusler was driving east on Shawnee Road when his truck drifted off the road and hit a bridge railing in the 4200 block. He was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
