OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie Police Department asks residents to lock their vehicles. Police have been investigating a string of vehicle break-ins in the city. The Osawatomie Graphic reports that police believe that the burglars walk down streets pulling on vehicle door handles. Police say all of the vehicles that have been burglarized were unlocked. The exact estimate of the loss isn’t known but stolen items include an I-Pod, a GPS unit, cigarettes and coins.
