BASEHOR — Hog Creek in Leavenworth County near Basehor remains the subject of a health advisory issued by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment three weeks ago. The KDHE said the creek continues have high levels of dangerous e-coli bacteria along some parts of the creek. KDHE issued the advisory after a large fish kill. The agency said it’s still not certain what’s causing the e-coli in the creek.
