LYNDON — Lyndon city administrator Kim Newman said city water rates need to go up. The Osage County Herald-Chronicle reported a study shows that at current rates, the city’s water fund would be operating in the red within five years, and the city would exhaust its cash reserves, now totaling $160,000 in 10 years.
