HILLSDALE LAKE — A 54-year-old Independence, Moi, drowned last week at Hillsdale Lake. The Osawatomie Journal identified the man as William Ure, who drowned May 1 while fishing near the Marysville area. Kansas Wildlife and Parks said Ure fell out of a boat while fishing with his wife and two family members.
