GARNETT — Mildred Peine is Anderson County Hospital’s 2010 Volunteer of the Year at Anderson County Hospital. She is a member of the hospital auxiliary and serves as a patient escort. Besides helping patients, Peine takes care of the hospital’s plants and helps with auxiliary fundraisers.
