OTTAWA — The Ottawa Youth in Government is asking for your help for their latest project. Youth in Government is looking at recreational opportunities available for teens in Ottawa through a project called Community Youthmapping. The group’s executive director Lisa River said that in “youthmapping,” the teens will use an on-line survey to ask what youths do for recreation. The question is an important one because many teens can resort to harmful activities such as drug abuse, sexual activity, and vandalism to occupy their time, Rivers said. She said adults are welcome to take part.
