KANSAS CITY — Hollywood producer Jim Schramm will be in Kansas City
today to solidify plans to shoot a major sci-fi action film that has Kansas City as a backdrop. He’s scheduled to announce details on the movie and the stars who will be in it. The screenwriter, Jeffrey Albert, said Kansas City has a lot of high-tech companies from Garmin to Sprint and large pharmaceutical companies that will provide an ideal setting for the movie.
