POMONA — Two Pomona women received injuries in a chain-reaction crash on K-68 a mile east of Pomona Tuesday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Stacy Hamilton, 28, was driving east on K-68 when she hit a deer standing on the highway.
Troopers said Clara Griffin, 81, was driving behind Hamilton and rear-ended her car.
Both women reported possible injuries and Griffin was taken by ambulance to Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.
