OTTAWA–Volunteers are needed this summer for doing everything from mowing grass for the elderly to feeding children. ECKAN has issued an appeal for anyone willing to help to contact them. Multiple calls from elderly homeowners in Ottawa have been received asking for help in mowing their lawn. Also, volunteers are needed so local children get proper nutrition during the summer months while school is out.
