WELLSVILLE — An 18-year-old Gardner woman was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital Tuesday afternoon after an accident southeast of Wellsville. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Paul Thompson, 52, Wildwood, Mo., was trying to turn left into a drive in the 4300 block of Shawnee Terrace when Amanda Klaus rear-ended his SUV with her car. She was injured. Thompson and a passenger in his SUV weren’t injured, the sheriff’s office said.
