WELLSVILLE — A 43-year-old Wellsville man told the Franklin County Sheriff’s department his truck was forced off the road by an oversized load on another truck Sunday morning. William Ward told a deputy he was driving north on Vermont Terrace north of Shawnee Road south of Wellsville when he swerved to miss a truck that had metal hanging off the bed. Ward’s truck went into the ditch and hit a tree. He wasn’t injured.
