OTTAWA — Amy Barnes of Ottawa has received a Kansas VFW Endowment scholarship from the state VFW headquarters. These scholarships are awarded to selected children and grandchildren of members of the Kansas Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary. This year’s awards total $20,000 for 17 scholarships.
