HUTCHINSON — Several area officers were among the 59 graduates from the 212th Basic Training Class of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center near Hutchinson, Graduates from the 14-week program include Brian Luft of the Ottawa Police Department; Blake Brooks, Russel Geist and Richard Wilson, Franklin County Sheriff’s office; Chris Wells, Osage County Sheriff’s office; and Scranton police chief Larry Alexander.
