OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie’s Silver Bullet Band missed one gig but they’re back on the road. The Osawatomie Journal reported that members of the band were recently involved in a head-on crash on U.S. 59 south of Lawrence. They told the Journal that their memory is that of the undercarriage and tires of a small pickup truck flying up and out of a ditch and straight into their pickup. Band members Andy, Kevin and Chris Cook and Mike Gorman, survived and are recovering from their injuries and performing again. Gorman, a retired member of the Miami County Emergency Medical Service helped treat the other driver who was injured.
