WICHITA — Now that you’ve graduated from college and it’s time to start paying off those student loans, will you find a job in today’s economy? Wichita State career services director Jill Pletcher agrees that things aren’t great economically and for job hunters, but she said she sees some signs for optimism. Pletcher said she’s hearing more from employers about students, including some who have never approached her before. Of course, engineering and health jobs are hot, but if graduates hustle and network, they improve their chances of landing a job, she said.
