RANTOUL — Brian-Ohlmeier Construction, Paola, has notified Franklin County that Vermont Road between Kingman and Marshall roads will be closed beginning May 31. The company will put a permanent pavement on the deck of the Marais des Cygnes River bridge near Rantoul. Before Thanksgiving, the company put temporary pavement on the new bridge so it would be open to motorists during the winter.
