OTTAWA- The crops in Franklin County are doing well this year. The planting of corn is about 98 percent complete, soy bean planting is about 60 percent complete, and wheat is looking healthy. Franklin County Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent Darren Hibdon says that the only thing that could make the plants better and grow faster would be a solid period of sunshine.
