OTTAWA- Governor Brownback will be hosting the 2011 Economic Summit at the University of Kansas Medical Center on Tuesday, May 24th. The Govenor has identified life sciences and KU Med as vital economic engines for the state. The summit is free and open to the public, and will include presentations by KU Med center representatives and community stake holders. The Tuesday event will go from 8 in the morning until noon.
